Do you want to learn to weave?

The first time I wove was in a class in Denver, Colorado in the mid ‘70s.  I knew that someday, I would weave again. That someday turned out to be January 1, 2016, which just happened to be my first day of retirement!  I started out small, weaving on a rigid heddle loom, soon graduating to several multi-shaft floor and table looms. My passion isn't just weaving but teaching weaving to others. Watching others when they create a scarf, towel, bag or sampler brings me such joy.

Check out my current schedule of offerings below.  A friend once asked me if I could only have three looms what would I choose. That's kind of like asking me who is my favorite kid!!! I would keep my Kromski rigid heddle, my 8-shaft Schacht Mighty Wolf, my 8-shaft Louet Jane table loom, and all of my tapestry looms and both inkle looms. Oh wait, she said three. I have them in two groups of three!!! Does that count!!! 

What can I say? It is my passion. I dabble in inkle, tablet, tapestry and Coast Salish weaving (I’ve taken several classes from Susan Pavel) and basket weaving, finding each a unique experience and a

different way to express myself.
